Socket Type Fitting
The TYTON joint is one of the most frequently used rubber-sealed push-in sockets. A specially profiled rubber socket consisting of a soft sealing element and a harder retaining element, act as a seal between the socket and spigot. The sealing action results from pressure on the gasket when the spigot is inserted. The harder section ensures that the gasket stays in place.
